Aside from sharing tips, strategies, and advice on how to navigate the world of academic publishing, I am available to consult, one-on-one, as a book midwife.
I say “midwife” because I have always felt my role as an editor is to assist authors as they bring forth their books: to offer suggestions, to ask questions, and to help make the journey from idea to published book smoother. I don’t want to step in and direct your process; I want to help you feel at ease as you make the most of this process.
If you are looking for someone to help you polish your proposal before “shopping” it to publishers, I can help. If you are in need of feedback on your book’s organization, I can help. If you would like someone objective (yet familiar with academic writing) to edit your manuscript, I can help.
To start a conversation about how I can assist you, please drop me a line about where you are in your process, and what kind of assistance you feel you need: leanne(at)anderink.com.
I look forward to hearing from you!
